Family and Friends - What a Welcome Home

Upon our arrival home, we have been welcomed by waves and waves of family and friends. As always our trusted friend and caretaker Deborah kept the house in running order while Robyn and I were in the hospital. She is going to have her hands full with caring for two boys now!

Please note that Xavier actually opened his eyes from Deborah. She has that touch!!!

This year, Robyn's dad was the first grandparent on the scene and helped out tremendously while we were in the hospital and big brother was home. Thanks Grandpa Reg! Good Look!

To the right here we have - Grandpa Reg and Xavier (Baby X: Je suis dormir mais je continue de l'amour de mon grand-père - Vous aimez mon français!!!!!!)

Baby X: Je suis encore dormir mais rêver de Paris au printemps.

Our neighbors have also been so supportive and wonderful during this time as well. We are so lucky to live on a warm and caring block. Here's to the 1200 North block of Forest Avenue! Thanks to all of you.

Here we have Alexis and Kirsten - block party goddesses and the official welcome wagon. BTW: Quincy requests that we do two block parties this year.

The Kuikens - Lisa & Todd stopped by with well wishes. Is Lisa thinking of having a third?!? Alex and Adam were with big brother Quincy in the basement during the visit.

Here we have our very dear Stanford, Michigan Law, downtown Chicago, San Francisco/West Portal, River Forest friends the Lee family. Chung, Nita and Meena. We love you guys. Thanks for coming by.

We also want to thank Seale for stopping by, the Trueloves, the Macks and the Koziols. In addition, representatives from DeVry, the House of Rimmer and McCoy respectively have paid us a visit. We especially want to thank the Hlavas for sending over dinner and gifts!!!!

Did I miss anyone? Probably, blame it on my head not my heart. I'm sleep deprived!!!!!

Robyn has been a gracious hostess during this entire time.

and me, well - I make for good baby furniture....

Until next time - we'll keep a light on - swing through when you can!
